Purple glam night makeup tutorial.

Today I decided to go for a glam makeup that is simple but yet edgy. The main focus will be on the eyes and the rest of the face will be simple so as to balance the complete look. Also you don't need to use the same products as mine. You can change the colours/products according to your preference.This makeup is perfect for parties or clubbing. For eye makeup I've used Makeup revolution London "I am sexy " palette.

so here's the makeup tutorial:

1.Prep your skin with a good moisturizer or aloe vera gel before applying any makeup.Also apply lip balm with heavy moisturising property because we will be using matte lipstick at the end.

[Quick tip: Aloe vera gel acts as a good base for makeup.It is good for people having oily skin and it will keep makeup sweatproof.]

2.Take small amount of foundation on the back of your hand and make random dots on the face and neck area. Always remember less is more so don't apply too much foundation otherwise the face will look cakey. [Pic-2]

3.Now blend the foundation properly with your fingers or any makeup sponge.I like to use makeup sponge with 2-3 drops of rose water in it. This helps in blending the foundation with much ease and make foundation look natural.[Pic 3,4&5]

4.Now apply the concealer under eyes and on the dark spots or areas where you have little bit of redness. Applying concealer on the bridge of the nose,cupid's bow ,jaw line,chin and forehead gives instant highlight and sharpen the high points of the face.[Pic-6]

5. Blend the concealer with the damp sponge or makeup brush.[Pic-7]

6. Set the foundation and concealer with loose powder or compact powder.Compact powder will also mattify the face.[Pic-7]

7.Take tiny amount of foundation/concealer and make random dots on eyelids.

Blend the foundation using foundation brush.[Pic 9&10]

8. Using 2nd shade(nude or brown) from the palette as a transition colour.Apply it into the crease line.Blend the colour from outward to inward ( in windshield motion) using blending brush. [Pic 11,12,13&14]

9.Using 3rd shade (metallic shade) from the palette ,dab it to the centre of the lids with the help of ring finger.[Pic-15&16]

10.Take the 1st shade(champagne) of the palette and applying it to inner corner and underneath brow bone with the help of brush or finger.[Pic 17,18 &19]

11. Using the 5th shade(purple) of the palette and applying little amount of colour in lower lash line with the help of angled brush. Start from the centre of the lower lash line and gently move the brush to the outer corner of the eyes and pulling the colour out little bit. Join the inner corner to the centre.Start building up the purple colour according to your preference.[Pic 20,21&22]

12. Apply black kohl/kajal to your upper and lower waterline.Use waterproof kajal to do this step.[Pic 22]

13.Apply few coats of your favourite mascara to upper and lower lashes.[Pic 24]

14. Use blending brush to smooth out the any rough edges.[Pic 25]

15.Use a dark brown eyeshadow or bronzer to contour your jawline. Suck your cheeks in and with the help of blush brush/angled brush,apply the dark brown colour following the jawline and blending it out. This step will make your your face look slimmer.Make sure not to use too much bronzer.[Pic 27&28]

16. Apply light pink blush to the apples of your cheeks with blush brush for a nice rosy tint on cheeks .[Pic 29]

17.Wipe away the excess lip balm with a tissue and apply light pink matte lipstick of your choice to finish this look.[Pic 30]
