Hello everyone,

Since the festive season is on and we have got more reasons to get dressed up.

So, I decided to go for a neutral eye makeup because it's perfect for the day as well as for the night .I used shimmery eyeshadows for this look but you can use matte colours. All colours i have used for this look except black are from the Maybelline Diamond Glow Eye Shadow(001_copperbrown) and the soft pink colour is actually a blush( Maybelline cheeky glow in the shade fresh coral).

Here's the step by step makeup tutorial.

Step 1: Prep your eyelids with a primer or concealer and blend it using a sponge.Set the concealer with compact powder to make smooth base for eyeshadows. This step will make eyeshadow easier to blend.

Step 2: Take a matte soft pink shadow as a transition colour and with the help of blending brush, apply the colour into crease line in windshield motion (left to right).[pic 4]

Step 3:With a precision tapered brush, apply brown eyeshadow to the outer 1/3rd corner of the eyes making 'V' shape.Use little amount of black shadow on the same brush and gently intensify the brown colour to create a gradient effect.[pic 5]

Step 4: Repeat the step 3 for inner 1/3rd corner of the eyes.[pic 6]

Step 5: Dab shimmery copper shadow on the centre of the lids with a flat eyeshadow brush.Blend the copper and brown shadow with precision tapered brush to soften the edges.[pic 8&9]

Step 6:Blend away any harsh edges with clean blending brush .[pic 10]

Step 7:Apply brown eyeshadow into the crease with precision brush to create little depth. [pic 11]

Step 8: Apply highlighter to the brow bone and inner corner of the eyes with the ring finger to give instant highlight and dimension to the eyes.[pic12]

Step 9:Dab copper eyeshadow to the centre of the lids with pinky finger. You can use golden glitter instead of copper shadow to make eyemakeup more glam.[pic 13]

Step 10: With a pencil brush, apply the brown shadow to the outer corner of the lower lash line.[pic 14]

Step 11:With the same brush, apply copper shadow to the centre of lower lash line. You can also use angular liner brush for the application.[pic 15]

Step 12:Apply black kohl to the waterline and line your upper lash line with waterproof eyeliner.Draw a wing at the outer corner to make this look stand out. Apply few coats of mascara to give some volume to the lashes.

Here's the finished look:

To balance the whole look, i decided to go for a bright red lipstick.

Products used:

  • Maybelline dream lumi touch concealer (ivory)

  • Maybelline clear glow compact.

  • Maybelline diamond glow eyeshadow(001_copperbrown).

  • Black eyeshadow from I am sexy pallette by Makeup revolution.

  • Elle 18 kajal.

  • Lakme insta waterproof liner.

I hope so you liked this look.Make sure to like ,comment and share this post on your social media. And wish you all happy navratri and festive season.
