Maybelline Hypercurl volum' express mascara review

Hello everyone,

I was looking for a good mascara at a reasonable price.So I got my hands on Maybelline hypercurl mascara. This mascara comes in two formula- waterproof and easy wash. I chose the easy wash one because waterproof mascara are little difficult to remove. Also if you don't use mascara on the regular basis then go for the easy wash mascara.

What the product claims:

3X volume instantly.
75 degree curl- keeps the curl for 18 hours.
Clump free.
Easy removal.

About the product:

First of all about the packaging, this mascara comes in a black plastic tube/bottle and the name is written in metallic pink colour.The packaging is nice ,easy to handle and it is easy to carry in makeup bag. The wand or brush has a curve which helps in separating the lashes and distributing the product on each lash. The formula of the product is quite good ,clump free and it doesn't feel heavy on the eyes.The company claims that it stays for 18 hours ,i haven't tested it out for this much time but yes it has good staying power.I had this mascara for about 5-6 hours and my lashes were looking perfect. i recommend to use lash curler before applying mascara this will give your lashes extra curl.

Price: Rs. 325/- (incl. of all taxes) for 9.2 ml.

Availability: This mascara is easily available online and in the market. I got it from Jabong.com.

What i like about this mascara:

Affordable
easily available
wand helps in separating the lashes.
doesn't feel heavy on eyes.
easy to carry.
gives volume to the lashes.

what i don't like about this mascara:

after 2 coats it gets little clumpier.
not great for lower lashes.

If you have lashes like mine you will find it little difficult to apply the mascara on lower lashes.Overall i like this mascara ,it does a good job and it is budget friendly. It is a must have in a beginner's makeup kit.

To buy or not to buy:

Definitely, to buy.
